series of episodes as well as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves towards a
resolution.

Description of how to implement in the class: After the students have read a novel, I want them to
access Timeliner 5.0 and create their own timeline of the plot in chronological order while annotating
how certain events connect, and how they affect one another.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This lesson plan is geared towards the 2nd and 3rd
LoTi levels of exploration and infusion. The students will be understanding and ordering the content
from the text, while applying analysis of how certain events of the novel connect to one another.
Timeliner 5.0 will be a beyond-the-basic product that the students can use for studying, comparing
and contrasting, and further analyzing the text.
Description of the sample BBPT file provided *: Timeliner 5.0 is aesthetically pleasing and easy to
use, access, and download onto school computers. It is easy to understand for students of all ages,
and they will be able to make a creative and unique timeline format using this product. There are 5
different views in TimeLiner 5.0, Data View, Compact View, Banner View, List View, and Slideshow
View so users are not limited to display options. These different viewing options offer diverse
features to display the timeline.
