You have applied for a position at iTech as either a Web

Designer or an IT Technician.

You have been selected for an interview and must attend an

assessment day.

In preparation for the assessment day you have been asked to

Scenario produce and present a PowerPoint slideshow explaining at
least six characteristics that would be needed for this job,
analysing the reasons why these characteristics are needed.

You will then discuss which of these characteristics you already

have, providing examples of how you have used these skills
and how you could further improve upon them.

Task 1 Create a PowerPoint Presentation with speaker notes

In preparation for the assessment day you have been asked to

prepare and deliver a presentation, which will be delivered to
the interview panel, explaining at least six personal
characteristics that would be valued by iTech.

The presentation should:

be at least 5 minutes long.
Contain slides with bullet points explaining the
characteristics valued by employers.
Show the speaker notes containing an analysis of why
these skills are required including examples of how
you have demonstrated these skills in a work situation.
The characteristics explained should be demonstrated
by yourself over the next few weeks.

Interview/Discussion
iTech were impressed by your presentation and would like to
discuss further your personal characteristics.

Complete the self-awareness questionnaire (attached) before

attending your interview at iTech.

The questionnaire should help you to discuss which

characteristics you have, how you know you have them and
which will enable you to undertake the job role applied for.

You will also discuss the skills you want or could develop
further suggesting how you might do that.
