6th Floor: This is a National Science Museum locates at the Pragati Maidan
Services Complex on Bhairon Marg, New Delhi.
The museum established in 1992 designed by Achyut P. Kanvinde
The footfall of the museum is 4,00,000 persons per year.
5th Floor:
Observatory & Facilities: Third Floor Plan
Radio Station There are 30 parking for car and 30 parking for 2 wheelers.
There are A.C. conference hall which has three sections with
temporary folding partitions having seats 28, 16 &12 respectively.
The Centre has a fully air conditioned auditorium having a seating

The building stand in the sea come 195 feet off Dohas Corniche.
A landscape of aprox 64 acres of dunes and oases on the shoreline behind the Museum offers shelter
and a picturesque backdrop.

Circulation
The museum id composed of a five-storey main building and a two-storey Educational Wing, which

In the main building there are a large entrance foyer which is connected with temporary exhibition
space, coffee shop, museum shop and auditorium.
Then through the staircase and lift we can access the other floor of main building.
All exhibition spaces are directly connected with the central courtyard.
Two more lanterns, each 100 feet tall, mark the boat dock on the west side of the museum, creating
grand entrance for guest arriving by boat.
Features of building
The main building has a 164-foot high domed atrium, which is concealed from outside view by the
walls of a central tower.
A glass curtain wall on the north side of the museum.
Ceiling are embellished with intricate coffered domes. And perforated metal chandeliers hand in the
