Hannah Aird Seasonal Drum Usher at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

She
was contracted for 15 hours a week but Hannah worked a lot more than
this. Hannah fulfilled the following parts of the job description:

1. To attend pre-performance briefings when called for duty, and any

relevant meetings as laid down by the Management
2. To ensure all auditorium procedures are adhered to, in line with the
auditorium information manual issued to all staf
3. To attend productions in the Lyric, Drum and Lab auditoria for own
enrichment and for the benefit of the Theatre Royal Plymouth
through communication and encouragement of our shows and
services to staf and patrons
4. To adhere to the Theatres high standards of dress and behaviour
5. To report any incidents or problems which afect the comfort and
safety of patrons
6. To assume responsibility for acquiring and providing product and
venue knowledge, responding proactively and positively to
customer enquiries, and maintaining efective customer relations
7. To report any housekeeping issues or maintenance defects relating
to the auditoria and all Front of House foyers
8. To undertake litter pick-ups in all auditoria as and when
appropriate
9. To be responsible for cash and stock control in the event of any
retails sales
10. To assist in the evacuation procedures as laid out in the emergency
procedures manual
11. To work on and develop a team spirit amongst all staf
12. To promote and comply with all TRP policies
13. To undertake such duties or tasks commensurate with the post from
time to time as directed by the management team

We were happy with Hannahs progress and as a result ofered her a

permanent contract with the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
