Senior Interior Design Lecturer at Raffles Education Corporation

Ulanbaatar, Mongolia
January 2013 - February 2014

Passion and preparation are the key factors on which I focus my teaching.
Showing passion for teaching design and helping students and being prepared,
organized and ready for any situation, has helped me to run a successful
classroom. In my opinion, a successful classroom consists of eager, enthusiastic
students ready to participate in discussion and work together with their fellow
classmates to achieve a common goal. This classroom consists of curriculum that
is not only challenging, but also rewarding. The students in this classroom feel
comfortable and confident in asking questions and seeking guidance. My success
as a teacher is not met until all my students are provided with the opportunity to
succeed.

Teaching Areas:

I was teaching early age children basic techniques in all media, and how to
generate good ideas for art making. In our art room, we have the following
studios: clay, drawing, painting, collage, fiber arts, and printmaking. This pedagogy
is called Teaching for Artistic Behavior and works from the premise that children
are artists and should learn how to use their ideas and skills to make art about the
things they value.
1. The arts teach children to make good judgments about qualitative relationships.
2. Thearts teach children that problems can have more than one solution and that
questions can have more than one answer.
