1. The issues in the field of ELT might not be the same in every country but
some of the overall ones are: changes in goals of teaching, changes in
approaches to teaching, changes in teaching content, expanding the
dimension of communicative competence, the use of IT in ELT, assessment
etc....
2. In regard to adult learns and young learners concerning methodology is that
adult learns are very independent, while young learns arent. The adults work
things out for themselves, organize themselves and even decide the direction
of the lesson. Whereas young learners, on the other hand it is necessary to
supervise and monitor their work constantly and give them clear instruction
and dealing effectively with learning strategies and classroom management.
3. The aim of each lesson is to encourage the students to communicate with
each other using the structures and vocabulary they've learnt and to improve
the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
