Anastatz di Zagreb

Generation: 9th Rank: Justicar of Clan Tremere

Anastaz di Zagreb was born as the son of a wealthy textile importer and had an early interest in the supernatural. His
father, however, disapproved of this and sent him to Oxford, where he should receive a solid education. At first, he
obeyed, turning into a staid young man, until he met a stage magician in a local pub. Fascinated by the man's illusory
talents, he decided to learn the techniques of stage magic. He practiced throughout his studies and even after he
graduated at Oxford and went to the London School of Economics, while also joining a secret society called the Magic
Ring. During one night, he encountered a Tremere who fed on a women in the backyard.
The last Justicar of the Clan made di Zagreb his Archon. During this time, he faced various other supernaturals and
became a prodigy on matters of the occult, but his friendly demeanor and altruistic behaviour never let him advance in
inter-Clan politics. When the new Justicar was chosen in 1998, Regent Jean St. Frederique put him forth as a candidate,
hoping to control the still young vampire as a mentor and adviser. While still young and inexperienced by comparison
with his peers, di Zagreb is eager to prove his worth.

Roleplaying Hints: Young and ambitious, Anastatz finds himself in a position he was not ready for and eagerly tries to
prove worthy of it. di Zagreb knows that many members of the Camarilla and even his own clan consider him too
inexperienced and weak and has decided to prove to everyone that he knows how to act as justicar. You have taken it
upon yourself to learn anything, and everything, you can about the Camarilla. It helps that a number of the other
Justicars, and their Archons, find a need for your occult expertise. Youre biding your time, building your powerbase, and
using your political capabilities and sharp mind to wheel those around into positions that are favorable to you.

Spies and combatants dealing with the Sabbat have reported that a full half of the Tremere Antitribu have been
destroyed. You, particularly, are bringing a staked and torpid one to the Conclave at the behest of Etrius, in order to test a
new ritual.
Goratrix hasnt been seen since the Montreal incident; you are working on directing the forces of the Camarilla
underneath your seat as Justicar against the next threat to the Tremere, the Assamite loyalists.
You have been concerned about the temporary appointment of Tegyrius as an interim Assamite Justicar, and you are
looking for information and dirt on Tegyrius or the Assamites to bring to bear in the political arena, if necessary.
