Today, 27 November 2007, Mr ***** sent me digital scans of his hand, in

order to carry out a full Hand Reading. The aim of this reading is to discuss
the character and direction of the enquirer, with recommendations for future
advancement.

HAND SHAPE - FIRE

***** hand shape is a classic Fire one. He has a long rectangular palm, with
fingers that are shorter, than the palms length. All of the main lines are
clearly marked.

We associate fire with energy, in the same way we associate a fire hand with
an energetic person. ***** is a person who works on impulse, being very
receptive to others, and their points of view. ALWAYS ON THE GO. This
phrase would describe him perfectly. Clearly he always needs stimulation,
and finds it very difficult to relax.

A person with a fire hand must lead an active life, if he doesnt already.
Exercise and fresh air is most important, especially when there is a need to
burn off nervous energy. A person who Burns the candle at both ends.
This will surely ring alarm bells. You must take care to rest frequently. There
is a lot going on around you, all the time, knowing when to say NO is
important.

Many actors, dancers, stage performers have Fire hands. They like to be
centre of attention, and are always looking for new challenges. A great
leader, you will be able to take control of situations when required.

THE FINGERS SMOOTH

You have very smooth fingers, that is to say, your joints are not as visible as
other peoples. You probably rely on instinct and intuition when making
decisions *****. You can find it hard to separate yourself from a situation.
You feelings are very important in any conclusions you may come to.
Sometimes you may rush headlong into situations without thinking about the
consequences.

THE JUPITER FINGER SLIGHTLY SHORT NORMAL

Let me take a look at one of the most important fingers on the hand, The
Jupiter Finger. Yours are of average length, although some palmists may say
a little shorter than they should be. You have great self-confidence. You take
pride in yourself, the way you look, and the achievements you make.
However because there is the possibility of being on the short side, you can
be withdrawn at times, and would rather be told what to do, not wanting to
take responsibility. A feeling of not being able to cope, may also rear its
head at times.

THE SATURN FINGER AVERAGE

The Saturn finger, or middle finger is the longest on the hand, as yours is.
You have a great sense of who you are. You know your boundaries and
limits. You would probably say you work as hard as you need to, without
going to far over and above what is expected.

THE APOLLO FINGER LONG

This is the finger of emotion. Yours is longer than average. Strong emotions
are indicated here, but more than that, emotions that you find hard to hide.
You find it easy to cry, but equally , you find it easy to laugh. Some may say
you ware your heart on your sleeve, expressing enough emotions for
everyone in a room. There is also an indication of artistic flare. Do you
channel these feelings into your pursuits? These could range from art,
performing, singing or even sport. You are one of those people, that others
feel happy knowing. You have this innate ability to make other feel good
about themselves.

THE MERCURY FINGER ABOVE AVERAGE LENGTH

THE GREAT COMMUNICATOR. Does this phrase ring a bell. It should do,
the extremely long length of your Mercury or little finger, is a strong indicator
of a communicator. Your are very talkative and amusing. The way you
express yourself can be very personal to you, but as a result you have made
a name for yourself with others. They may refer to you by quoting the things
you say, or by the things you do.
A TELLER OF STORIES. A very articulate person, who enjoys telling stories,
either just to his friends or in a professional capacity. You have an answer for
everything, and a superb turn of phrase.

Occupations People with long Mercury fingers will make good writers,
teachers, performers and politicians. To be honest you are the type of
person to have an answer for everything on any issue you care to mention.

The one thing very noticeable with the way you hold your hand is the wide
finger spacing, especially between your Mercury and Apollo fingers. This
makes you terribly independent, and sadly you do keep your emotional
distance from partners. This does contradict some of what I have already
seen. I think you may have been hurt in relationships in the past. As a result
you do find it difficult to get close emotionally!

FINGERTIPS SUN

You have Sun fingertips, very complimentary towards the fire hand. You
enjoy life greatly, maybe too much sometimes. They are once again an
indicator of someone who wants to be centre of attention, always having
something to say. If you are not active, you become easily bored.

LARGEST MOUNT VENUS

The largest mount on your hand is the mount of Venus. Love and contact
with others are very important to you. People warm to you instantly. You
have a very strong sense of your own sexuality, and as the name Venus
suggests, you are very sensual. Again you have a great gift of giving advice.
A caring attitude towards others, and a joyous, happy outlook on life, with a
love of beauty and nature make you a passionate person.

THE THUMB LONG

Your thumb is long, when judged against the rest of the fingers. This makes
you a bit of a cultural animal, refined, with a thoughtful nature. You will
always think before saying anything. The thumb itself is held close to the
hand. The position somewhat contradicts earlier observations. Deep down
you can be shy and introverted. You do not like feeling insecure, Security is
very important to you. Notice the way you thumb curves. The long angle
suggests great communication skills, as stated previously. Will power can be
harder for you, but you are flexible, and always willing to listen to others
point of views.
 LINES OF THE HAND
Everyone has different lines, no two are the same, rather like our finger
prints. Some of us will have very few lines others will have many. Most of
the lines on your hand are well defined, which is a good sign. The quality of
a line (NOT ITS LENGTH), will have baring on the enquirers length and quality
of life. There is one area of major concern, this is the lack of or rather faint
Career or Fate line. This I will discuss later in the reading.

THE HEART LINE

The heart line shows a persons ability to love, and empathise with others. It
shows how successful, or not you are in relationships. Are they happy
experiences or fraught with problems. The physical state of the heart can
also be determined from this line.

Your heart line begins on the Mount of Jupiter. It travels from this position,
straight across the Palmer surface. From this obvious characteristic we and
gage several important factors. It seems you can be a jealous type, where
love is concerned. You can be equally demanding as well, expecting a lot
from any potential partner.

The index or Jupiter finger rules your religious or spiritual self, therefore a
heart line beginning here, will be very much affected by your convictions.
You have ideals where love is concerned, if someone does not live up to your
expectations, then that is it!

It is important to note that with the Heart line beginning under the Index
finger, there is a great need for ambition. YOU WILL and do seek status and
prestige. Money is important to you in a relationship. You can be very
aggressive when HUNTING a partner, stopping at nothing to get what you
desire

Notice the position of your line on the hand. It is very low set. This is a sign
of passion. You are a very sexually aware person, although not as responsive
to others needs as much as your own.
Descending Branch : A descending branch from the heart line about the
age 25 - 27. This is likely to show disappointments to your affections. It
looks as though a relationship ended, or became very traumatic for you. The
line falls very deeply into the headline, indicating an extremely low period in
your life, which probably affected your whole way of thinking.

Notice also how close the head and heart lines are to one another, as if the
headline is pulling the heart line towards it. An indicator of the heads
influence over the heart. THE MIND RULES THE HEART . This again is
an indicator of stress.

RELATIONSHIP LINES 1 MAJOR

The relationship lines fall just below the little finger, from what I can see from
the scan, there is a single very important relationship, probably the last one
you have had thus far. Maybe this was the one that caused difficulties, in
your mid to late twenties? There was another of less importance, probably in
your late teens, and no others of significance. However there is a faint line
at the beginning of all your relationships, longer than the others but of less
importance.

HEADLINE

The Headline, as the name suggests, describes someones level of

intelligence, the way you think and convey your thoughts to others. The
lines always start on the side of the palm near the thumb.

The positioning of your head line is interesting, separated from your life line,
not greatly, but significantly. This is an indication of a very independent
individual, who acted at times in a headstrong way. Self confidence is a huge
asset for you, and the ability to survive on your own was paramount for you.

The beginning of the line is rather feathered, up until your early twenties.
This would suggest a time you would rather forget, possibly related to school
and family.

Several islands appear for a long period after this. Again a time when you
are weakened by confusion and indecision.

The distance between the heart and head lines are short. This is the
cautious you, often reserved, and can be very private at times. It takes a lot
for you to confide in others, although, again you are not adverse to giving
advice.

THE FATE LINE

The fate line is probably the most fascinating line on the hand. It shows the
path our life takes. It shows the ups and downs that may occur and the
people who influence this path. Your fate line begins on the Mount of the
moon.

It is clear that you have generally always made your own decisions, about
what you should or should not do in life. There is very little influence from
other people, about the direction you should take. Your choice of career is
very individual, very personal to you. Most people who follow their own
sense of direction, prefer to work in a group, rather than by themselves. This
provides people to bounce ideas off, thus providing stimulation. If the job is
boring, I would assume that you have a rewarding hobby or variety of
interests, that keep you occupied.

I must point out that you have very little in the way of a fate line.
Interpreting what I can see, the beginning of this line is from the Mount of
the Moon. One would assume you crave success, usually in the field of the
arts. At least an area where you can use your imagination. Basically one
can definitely say that your family had no influence on the course and
direction your fate would take. If anything other close individuals opinions
were very much more important to you.

UNCONVENTIONAL: This would be the word I would use to describe you as

a person, and for the path you have chosen to take. The lack of a fate line
suggests a person who sets out to take the world by storm. Doing something
that only he would have dreamed of, certainly not what your parents would
have wished you to do. This is not to say you are not or will not be
successful, but rather the way you achieve your ambitions are different from
convention.

I can see that it has taken a while to find out what you want from life. You
have not left school, got a job, and stayed within this occupation until now.

YOU MUST GRASP A SENSE OF DIRECTION. Some people go through life, not
truly knowing their destiny. I get the feeling that maybe you are still trying
to find yourself, and what you should do with your life. True, more so earlier
on. You enjoy experiencing new things, but maybe you try to do too much,
pushing you off the path you had set for yourself.

LIFE LINE

The life line is a great indicator of the mile stones in your life. The quality of
the line is important. A good quality line will show a good quality of life. The
line begins between the thumb and Jupiter finger, sweeping across the palm,
ending on the base of the thumb.

Your life line is the most defined of all of the lines on your hand. This is a
mixed blessing. You have great physical strength and enthusiasm, throwing
yourself headlong into life and all it has to offer. Sadly, at times you lack
equal measure of concentration to see things through. You want to achieve,
but get bored very easily!

The Life line does hug close to the ball of the thumb. In Palmistry this would
suggest restriction. You feel restricted, wanting to break free. I think you are
waiting for that opportunity to surface.

GIRDLE OF VENUS

Not everyone has this line, which appears above the heart line in a semi
circular fashion. The appearance of it, is a classic sign that you could or
have been unfaithful at one time or another. You are highly sexually aware,
with a flirtatious nature, and are therefore attracted to people.

HEALTH OR MERCURY LINE

The Via Hepatica or Mercury line, is another that not everyone has. Those
who do have it worry about their health in some way. If you have a health
line, it is best that it is defined, and easily detectable.

Your Health line is fairly broad and shallow. This type of line is fairly
common. It indicates a delicate bronchial system. The breaks along the line
are an indication of bronchitis, asthma and allergies. A delicate constitution
is also a consideration. Are you susceptible to nervous ailments? These
could include yeast infections and stress as well as problems with sinus.

Lack of Vitamin B and C

INFLUENCE LINES
There are many influence lines on the hand. The ones I am concerned about
are those lines from the life line to the thumb, within the ball of the thumb.
These mass of lines are the influences, (Usually people), who are a part of
your daily life. They can quite literally change on a daily basis. The lines
that follow parallel to the life line, are those people, you take notice of,
following their advice. Those lines that travel in a completely different
direction, are those you tend to ignore.

By looking at this area of your hand, I would say you are a disorganised
person. You may achieve all you want to, but it is done in an unconventional,
muddled way. I feel you separate friends or influences. You have specific
friends for different things, and it is rare they meet. You like to split your life
into sections.

SYMBOLS ON THE HAND

CROSSES

You have several mystical crosses on your hand. These indicate an interest
in and fascination with psychic development, magic and the mysteries of life.
It also gives you a great sense of intuition. There is also a possible analyst
there, someone who has to know answers before believing what he is told.
You love to research, study and explore, and putting in the practice, all that
you find, through experimentation.

CROSSES AND GRILLS ON THE VENUS MOUNT

You have very little by the way of bad markings on any part of your hand
except on The Mount of Venus. I am specifically, once again looking at the
period from 21 to now and beyond. You have several large crosses, and
partial formations of grills. These are all considered detrimental. A series of
bad decisions where partnership is concerned.

GRILLS

Grills weaken the personality linked to the mount they are found on, leading
to Stress. Positive energy finds it hard to move through a grill and therefore
becomes stifled.
 CONCLUSION

The major lines of your hand are well defined, offering

great quality in everything you do.
As with most gay people you find difficulty at the
beginning of life. Childhood was not easy and as a result
you became very independent and resourceful, preferring
to forge your own path in life, rather than accepting
convention.
You have an amazing imagination, and signs that you
dream very vividly. Indeed you would love to put into
practice your dreams and thoughts, which are not always
practical.
I see at least one relationship akin to marriage. Maybe it
through you off track, You were hurt through it, but I get
the feeling things have not been the same since.
There appears to be people in your life at the moment,
who are not very helpful to you. Reassess your life, and
decide what and who are important to you.
There seems to be very little in the way of direction. You
possibly find it difficult to stick at jobs for to long, and
want to follow a path very different from those parents
may have chosen.
 HEALTH FACTORS

Your biggest nightmare is stress. Learn to unwind in

different ways. Stress inevitably puts a strain on the
heart, pull back the reigns.
As a person who thinks about his health, you must
concentrate on two areas. The Stomach and the liver.
Overindulgence is the biggest factor here.
There are bronchial factors showing here, whether you
get run down from colds easily, smoke too much or suffer
from asthma.
