INDIVIDUAL MAILBOX GREETINGS 24
INTRODUCTION
There are two types of programming available on the BCS 250 telephone system. One is
Individual Programming, whereby each telephone user can program the keys of their own
telephone.
The other type of programming is System Programming. Generally only one telephone per
system is enabled for system programming the user of the authorized telephone can program the
keys of any telephone in the system and make many changes to the system configuration. System
programming can only be carried out from the operators console.
The programming telephone must be in the idle state before it can be placed in the programming
mode. During this time no further calls can be dealt with. If programming is being carried out
from the operators console the system should be night switched.
Entry to various levels of programming is protected by passwords. Most functions you will need
to alter can be accessed by the password 33333 (the number 3 five times). If this is not successful,
contact the suppliers who installed the system.
