Weseeseveralinstancesinthebiblewherethe enemy, depicting the devils we fight, knew something

about God's people that His people, themselves did not even know.

WhileGodwhittleddownGideon'sarmyof32,000peopleto300,Gideonwasfearfulofthesmall
numberchosentofacetheenemy.

Judges7:13-15KJVAndwhenGideonwascome,behold,therewasamanthattoldadreamuntohis
fellow,andsaid,Behold,Idreamedadream,and,lo,acakeofbarleybreadtumbledintothehostof
Midian,andcameuntoatent,andsmoteitthatitfell,andoverturnedit,thatthetentlayalong.(14)And
hisfellowansweredandsaid,This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of
Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.(15)Anditwasso,when

TheenemyknewGideonwasGod'sweaponthatwoudldestroytheentirearmyoftheMidianites.

AndwhilethetwospieswereinRaqhab'shome,sherevealedtothemthefearoftheCanaanites.

Fortyyearsago,thetendoubtfulspiesspreadfearoftheCanaanitesthroughthewholenation.

Weseeitshownagainandagainthat,generallyspeaking,God'speoplehavefarlessanestimationof
themselvesinthefaceoftheirenemiesthantheirownenemieshave!

AndthisispreciselythecasewiththemajorityofGod'speopleinthechurchtoday.
Theydonotknowtherealityofwhattheenemyknowsaboutthem.
In fact, you could say the enemy has more faith in us than we do of ourselves!
Butthereasonbeingisthedevilwasdefeatedhead-onbyChristandknowspreciselyhowmuch
damageChristdidtohim,whereaswewerenotthere,andtoomanydonotlearnthesethingsfrom
theBible.

GOLIATHstatedatruthweneedtoappreciate.
Hespeaksofthedevil,forthedevilknowsexactlywhatittooktodefeathim.

manybedead,muchmorethegraceofGod,andthe gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ,

Goliath said ONE MAN from Israel would come and take Goliath on,andSHOULD THAT

ONE MAN, Jesus Christ, faced the devil!

Satanknewthattakingoutoneman,ADAM,wouldaffecttheentirehumanraceandmakeallof
themslavestothedevil'skingdomofdarkness.
AndbythesametokenheknewthetruthofRomans5,andhowONEMAN,ontheotherhand,
COULDCONQUERHIMandenslavethedevil'sentirekingdombythatsinglefellswoop.

ThedevilknewafteritwasovertheonenessoftheGodheadlikeneverbefore.
HeknowsthereisoneGodandhetrembles.
HeknowsONEGODwasmanifestinFleshasthatONEMAN,anddefeatedthedevil.
Hetrembleseverytimehethinksorisremindedtothinkofthecrossthatday,forlittledidhe
expecttohappenwhatdidhappen.

Whatpowerandvictorycouldalambpossiblyhave?
Andyetthislambwasevenmoresoaconundrum,forithadBEENKILLED!

Goliathwouldhaveneverexpectedit,andneitherdidJohnexpectthelionofJudahtobealambthatwas
slain.
Onemancouldhavedoneit,thegiantthought.
OnemanonparwithGoliath...achampionandgiantandunusualamongstallothermen.
ButthesamemanSamuelneverexpectedtoseeamongstthetall,strappingsonsofJesse,while
oneboy,unknowntoSamuelasactuallychosenofGod,wasoutsideinthefiledswiththesheep,
wastheoneGoliathneverexpectedtoseecomeforward.
GoliathfeltperhapsIsraelmighthaveamanequalhisheight,butunlikely,forthesonsofAnak
wereknowntobegiantsincontrasttoeveryoneelse.
Butashortermancouldstillbequitestrong.

When we cease to strive in our fleshly and human power to accomplish a spiritual work, we
allow God's ALMIGHTY POWER to rise up and aloow Him to deal with the situation
THROUGH US as though we were VESSELS.
