Yesterday at my school we had an Internationalday. We had
performances, food stalls, displays, raffle ticket draw, and some of us
were dressed in costumes.
We started our day off with performances but theone I liked
best was the one from fourth grade. We played games. The
performance I was in was Labamba.
Straight after our performances we had our lunch.There were
food stalls. They came from Australia, Asia, Arab, and Greece
Everyone had a job. These people were from sixthgrade. I did
my job after I had lunch. My job was to sell International Day Books.
We had displays in the hall. These displays weregood but I
didnt get to see them. The displays came from a lot of countries.
There was also a Trash and Treasure stall wherethey sold toys.
The school got these things by asking the children to bring them in.

3. Narrative Text
The Fox and the Crow
Once upon a time, there lived an old lady crow who was
mean and ugly. Oneday, Miss Crow had stolen a big piece of
cheese. And then, she flew on to a branch to enjoy it.
On the other place, under the tree, a sly creature, Mr.
Fox, who wanted thecheese for himself, came up and spoke
politely to her.
Oh. Miss Crow, how beautiful you are! What a lovely
beak, what lovelyfeathers you have! What pretty eyes!
If only you could sing, you would be themost beautiful
bird in the world!
Very pleased to hear all of this about herself, Miss Crow
gave a loud croak toshow that she could sing.
Of course, the moment she opened her beak, the
cheese fell down, and Mr.Fox ran away with it, laughing loudly.
