On the hardwood, the Cougars were in charge, but wonder how
many Cougars were stiff this morning from the physical beating
that went on Monday night. Both teams, in both halves of play,
moved into the penalty situation, total penalties for Sanborn came
to 21 and with 17 for Campbell on the night.
Scoring was controlled by Campbell going 15, 20, 9 and 14
while Sanborn was 12, 9, 4, 19, ending with a final tally of 58 to
44. It was a great game to watch if you like fastbreaks, full court
presses and 11 goals from behind the line. Spencer Stanium
had 16 points, eight from the floor, a pair of threes and two free
throws. He was followed by Sean French with eight, all from the
floor, and Harrison Vedrani with six.
