Go Kidneys! Fight for what is right

Renal disease is just one disease. It is a disease in which the kidney is

damaged. For me renal disease is just a rare condition. Diabetes, hypertension and
age 60 or greater are the most common reasons for low kidney function. So if you
have renal disease testing for this disease is a long and costly process. If you are at
risk for kidney disease, there is nothing you can do about it. And lastly my
misconception about renal disease is that the only treatment for this disease is only
dialysis and it can cause pain and burden to the patient.

Renal disease is classified as glomerular, tubular or interstitial based on the

area of the kidney primarily affected. Most glomerular disorders are caused by
immunologic disorders throughout the body. Glomerulonephritis is a sterile,
inflammatory process that affects the glomerulus. There are different types of
Glomerulonephritis namely Acute Poststreptococcal Glomerulonephritis, Rapidly
Progressive Glomerulonephritis, Goodpasture Syndrome, Wegener Granulomatosis,
Henoch-Schonlein Purpura, Membranous Glomerulonephritis, Membranoproliferative
Glomerulonephritis, Chronic Glomerulonephritis, Immunoglobin A Nephropathy,
Nephrotic Syndrome, Minimal Change Disease, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis,
Alport Syndrome, and Diabetic Nephropathy. Tubular Disorders is caused by
Hereditary or Metabolic disorders. The effect of Tubular Disorders is Reabsorption
failures. Also Tubular Disorders has different types which are Fanconi Syndrome,
Acute Tubular Necrosis, Uromodulin-Associated Kidney Disease, Nephrogenic
Diabetes Insipidu and Renal Glucosuria. Interstitial Disorders is caused by
infections and inflammation. Types of Interstitial Disorders are Cystitis, Acute
Pyelonephritis, Chronic Pyelonephritis and Acute Interstitial Nephritis. Lastly there
are two form or renal failure which are acute and chronic. Acute renal failure is
sudden onset and often reversible while chronic renal failure is the progression from
original disorder and end-stage renal disease. Lastly what I learn is that Renal
Lithiasis is the calculi formation in large shapes and sizes and Lithotripsy is the high
energy shock waves to break stones into pieces to be passed or this can be an
alternative to surgery.

I want to gain more knowledge or to dig deeper on how the disease can
affect the life of the people suffering that kind of certain disease. What are the other
causes that may lead to that disease and how to prevent it in a natural way or
scientific way. Is there are any other organs that might be affected if you acquire
one of those diseases mention above.
