Installation Guide
MiniPoint Ethernet
& MiniPoint USB

This quick installation guide was develop for installation of MiniPoint Ethernet and MiniPoint USB on
MS-Windows MultiPoint Server 2012
To begin the update process, install Rollup 2, and install the proper GPU driver.

It is advisable to update WMS2012 following installation, since updates are released regularly.

In addition to regular system updates, in order to ensure compatibility between WMS2012 and any
Network Stations, you must install Rollup 2 from Microsoft before installing your zero-client drivers
and network plugin. You can download Rollup 2 from Microsoft at
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2864239.

All Video drivers must be up to date, and use the correct architecture for the installed video
card. For example, an Intel HD4000 requires the most up to date version of the driver available for your
OS, in order to have complete functionality. See your GPU manufacturers website for the most up to
date list of available drivers.

Select Language and
Regional preferences.

Click, Install now.

Enter your product key
to activate Windows.

Accept the License terms.

Choose your preferred type of
Installation.

Choose your installation

location.

5.
Finish the installation process.
Your computer will restart
several times.

6.
After updating WMS2012
and installing MS Rollup 2,
download and install the
MiniPoint Driver.
Reboot the system upon
request.

7.

Download and install the WMS

Zero Client Manager.
Reboot the system upon
request.

8.
Open the MultiPoint
Management tool.

9.

Assign all the MiniPoints

found in the LAN to your
server.

10.
Connect your mouse,
keyboard and monitor to
each MiniPoint network
station.

11. Iflogin
everything is installed correctly, the WMS2012 login screen will be displayed. If the
screen does not display, please repeat the installation process.
