collective noun: the name of a group of animals, eg herd or flock

Pronoun: a word that stands in for a noun

personal pronoun: a word that shows a person or thing, eg he, she, them

possessive pronoun: a word that shows the owner of an object, eg his, their

relative pronoun: a word that relates to the subject just mentioned, eg who, that,
which

Verb: a doing word, eg jumped, was, pays

Adjective: a word that describes a noun or pronoun, eg green or young

Article: a word that introduces a noun

indefinite article: a or an

Adverb: a word that describes an adjective, adverb or verb, usually ending in -ly, eg really
or quickly

Preposition: a word that shows the position in time or space, eg in, at or after

Conjunction: a word that connects two sentences together (sometimes called a connective),
eg and, but or because

Interjection: an outburst or word people say when theyre playing for time, eg hey, well, now
or so

Definition: announcement is a text of meaningful notice of facts, events, or intentions.
Generic structure:
1. Title or type of event: tell the purpose of event in announcement.
2. Date and place: tell the place or date of announcement.
3. Who to contact: tell who to contact for more information.
specific text:
1. Including permission or giving a sorry.
2. Using present future or past tense.
3. Using to inform people.
Purpose: the purpose of announcement is to information us what has happened or what will
