Excursion

On Saturday 24 October 2015, general registered conference attendees and

guests* will have the opportunity to track to the incredible Sempu Island or
Snorkeling at Tigawarna (based on the possibility).

Sempu is a conservated island located 800 meters from the southern coast of the province of
East Java, about 70 km south of the city of Malang, and 3 hrs drive by car.

This conservation island is well-known for the lagoon on the other side of the island, which can
be reached by 1,5 hours of trekking. We will need to bring our mountain shoes/sport shoes and
food (or tent if you plan for camping). For those who doesn't plan to camp overnight, we will
need to get back to the mainland by afternoon. We still can catch a nice sunset scene on Goa
Cina beach (nearby Sempu island).

*Cost of the excursion is included in your conference registration fee and guest speakers, except
for Indonesian registration (has a separate cost for excursion). The trip from Malang by car is
about 2,5 hrs. The excursion is including transport, lunch and barbeque.
