LEARNING PLAN

Transfer Goal:
The students in the long run and on his/her own will be able to get involved in any of the
ministries of the local Church (parish) as sharing in the mission of Jesus.

Essential Understanding:
The student will understand that the ministries of the Church are Gods manifestation and
presence among His people on earth.

Essential Questions:
1 What happens to the Church without its ministries?
2 How will I take part in the mission of Jesus through the Church today?

Preliminaries
Review: Pre-Test on the Ministries of Jesus

Focus: The Story of the Call of the Apostles

Motivation:
Quick Pick: The Story about EVERYBODY, SOMEBODY, ANYBODY AND NOBODY.

Activating Prior Knowledge:

Have you experienced the same thing that happened in the story? What do you think is lacking
in them? Do you have any idea of the meaning of the word initiative?
