No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994", for the purpose of promoting/enhancing the research productivity of higher education institutions (HEIs), the Commission has created the CHED Journal Incentive Program (CHED- JIP). CHED-JIP shall support initiatives of Philippine HEls/scholarly and scientific organizations to improve the quality as well as boost the global prestige of Philippine journals based on current international standards of scientific or scholarly publishing.
