Adrs‘ya is Archcult's photography challenge to capture events and objects
around us in new and interesting perspectives. So, get ready to snap your views
and show the world what you see.
Photography offers something more than the act of creating an aesthetic
image. A good photographer is able to portray an emotive feeling in a
photograph. The image should reflect what the photographer saw and felt.
Get creative, unleash your imagination. Experiment with various styles, lenses,
filters and methodologies. Show us what you see in the world around you.
THEME
Participants are expected to submit entries on one or all of the following topics:
MELANGE OF LIFE:
To depict everyday people in a variety of colourful moods i.e. to depict human

MELANGE OF FORM:
Forms that move. Forms that flow. Forms that blend. Forms whose shadows play
games of light etc. This is open to interpretation and we would like to see you
come up with some wild ideas.
MELANGE OF NATURE:
To capture extraordinary moments in nature in a celebration of its vividity and
vitality.
FORMAT
The competition consists of two stages.
Stage -|( 13th Feb to 25th Feb)
* The first stage involves submitting a maximum of three entries on the topics
provided and is open to alll.
The entries will be exhibited on Archcult's Facebook Page.

EUSA ARCHCULT'17URES
* Aparticipant can only submit one entry per topic. Hence, a maximum of
three photographs per participant.
Participants sending entries for all the three topics will be prefered.
Students pursuing undergraduate/ postgraduate courses in recognised
colleges of India are allowed to participate.
All Photographs must have a caption and each must clearly mention the
photograph for the respective caption and its topic in the body of the mail
along with the contact details of the participant.
The EXIF information for the photographs must be intact.
Minimum resolution of the photos should be 8 Megapixels.
Mobile phone cameras are not allowed.
Participants can post-process their photos using Adobe Lightroom or any
other photo editing software. Adobe Photoshop is strictly not allowed.
Entries found to be ‘Photoshopped’ will be disqualified.
For post-processed images the originals, in JPEG format, should also be
submitted.
Only one picture per frame is allowed. Collage or composite of 2 or more
pictures in a single frame is not allowed.
The participants assure the organizers that they completely own the work

The participants agree that any photographs irrespective of their colleges
may be selected and exhibited by the judge/event manager at an
appropriate venue.
All photographs must be taken after the release of the brief. Photos
taken prior to the release of the brief are ineligible.
All the photographs submitted must be in JPEG format only.
Photographs must not have any borders, name, personal logos or
watermarks.
Entries should be compressed in zip format (not more than 25MB) and sent
with the subject “Adrsya 2017_(college name)_(participant name)" to
competition@archcult.org no later than 11.59 P.M, 25th February 2017.
Under any circumstances, Photographs once submitted cannot be taken
back for changes or modifications.
The decision of the judges is final and no discussion or correspondence will
be entertained regarding the same. The judges reserve the right to cancel
or vary the position awarded in case of discrepancies.
Entries may be disqualified if any of the above criteria are not adhered to.
Prizes worth Rs.3000 to be awarded.
