Project Description

Consider you have 4 different technologies using which you want to cover the give
area say (25 unit x 25 unit). Some details about these four technologies and their
coverage are given below:
1. Tech1: Coverage is around 15 units and it supports voice and very low data
rate (200 kbps)
2. Tech2: Coverage is around 13 units and it supports data rate up to 5Mbps
3. Tech3: Coverage is around 8 units and it supports data rate up to 5Mbps
4. Tech4: Coverage is around 0.5 units and it supports data rate up to 16 Mbps
and also it can create adhoc networks between devices
Consider the below figure the Base station supports the all four technologies and
the devices (red circle) also and they can form the adhoc network so using the
Tech4 we can communicate to the end device if they are in the grid adjacent to
each other and form a continuous path.

The task would be to consider the above scenario and for some different scenarios
by randomizing the device locations. How much area can be covered by for different
services with given Base station location?
And then how much base stations required to cover any given area? Kind of
statistical evaluation.
