GOOD NEWS AMONG US.

A PERIODICAL NEWSLETTER ABOUT THE BROTHERS

Dear Professed Brothers, Novices, Postulants, Pre-novices, Applicants and Oblates:

This is going to be the first publication of Good News Among Us, a periodical newsletter that will
inform you of what is happening in our religious community, the Dominican Missionaries for the
Apostolates of the Deaf and Disabled. The purpose of this Newsletter is to forge and strengthen closer
relationships among many members of the Dominican Missionaries family, especially for those who live in
different part of USA and overseas. Since our inception of our religious community in 2004 in Oakland
Diocese, our community has grown to over 20 members, pre-novices and oblates and therefore a form of
communication from the Generalate to every member and candidate will help to foster and strengthen our
fraternal relationship through our religious vows and community living. Any opinion and publications from
you are most welcome and encouraged.
With this first publication, we will focus on current professed members. In the next publication we
will focus on our novices and thereafter our pre-novice candidates and oblates. This should be an interesting
reading for you all. We continue to remain in union with you both here at the home front as well as in
different parts of our world. Through Christ, we remain united in our thoughts, prayers, charism and
religious vows.
May God and His servants, St. Dominic and Blessed Margaret di Castello continue to bless you and
enrich your religious vocation in the Dominican Missionaries community.

Father Thomas Coughlin, OP Miss., Prior General
