Statement of the problem

Lebak Ice plant corporation, uses handwritten materials in the procedures

of the processing of sales and payroll reports for almost 15 years of their
operation. Prior to this, difficulties in the processing of sales and payroll
reports are being observed. Errors are not avoided in this situation due to
the manual procedure being practiced.

Because of this problems, the researcher realized to develop a

computerized sales and payroll system that will solved the mentioned
problems and satisfies the needs of the involved proponents or entities in
the processing of sales and payroll report.

Generally, this study aims to develop a Lebak Ice Plant Corporation

Specifically, this study aims:

To provide more efficient and reliable auto-deduction and

computerized documents for sales and payroll.
To provide a database that will keep all the sales and payroll records
To minimize the consumed time in processing those reports

Manual and Computerized System

Manual system
The manual system of Lebak Ice plant corporation sales
and payroll system totally needs a lot of changes. It only
uses paper files in recording the data in sales and
payrolls. It spends a lot of time and work at very low
speed, more prone to errors in the processing of reports.
Data are being stored on cabinets which is not so safe for
those kinds of company records.

Computerized system
In computerized system, the accumulation of transactions
will be done easily with lesser time and effort for a
certain user. This will guarantee that any transactions will
be more reliable and accurate than the manual system.
Through this, computerized system are mostly
recommended for the utilization of the transaction-
making in different businesses and offices.

When the system will be developed, the researcher
expects that the system will encourage the panel of this
corporation to fully adopt and consider this kind of
system and the information technology resources
capabilities to be used in their business transactions.

During the duration of the process of making of this
designed system, the researcher come up to a 20,000
estimated budget used in the purchase of 1 set of
Computer unit.

Scope and delimitation of study

The study is intended for the use at Lebak Ice Plant
corporation. The whole duration of the study will cover
from the month of January2013 to march 2013.
The scope of the study evolves in developing a
Computerized Sales and Payroll System that would help
the sales and payroll report of this corporation
systematically. The said study will be delimited in keeping
accurate sales and payroll records and giving a reliable
sales and payroll report.
