1966 First Computer System implemented in Malaysia.
1970 Introduction Of Dot Maris Printer
1981 School Computer Clubs were established.
1986 Computer Literacy Pilot Project (CLPP) was introduced but discontinued after
one year.
1987 The First Plain Paper Tax and the Examination Board set up techonology in the
processing of exam data.
1989 Computers-In-Education (CIE) Policy Proposed, An MOE-MIMOS joint
committee drafted the policy.
1990 National It Council, Launching of the Atom- 1PC compatible and computer
integrated learning System 9ComIL) was developed.
1992 CIE Pilot Project was launched by MOE.
1993 Knowledge Resource Centre Psi) was given the MOEs blessings
1994 Computer Asisted Instruction Learning Project was launched and Education
Network was launched.
1996 National It Agenda & Malaysia Multimedia Super Corridor and Pusat Sumber
Elekctronik was launched.
1997 Pilot Project 88 smart school)
1999 The Smart School Was Established Where Learning Institution That Has Been
Systematically Reinvented In Terms Of Teaching And Learning Practices And
School Management In Order To Prepare Children For The Information Age.

2003 Teaching Of Mathematics And Science In English
The Usage Of Web Tv In Classroom As A Teaching Aid. It Is Also Includes
Internet Television In General As A Purpose To Give Education To All Despite
Their Locations.

2002 Post-Pilot enhancement to 88 smart school, Enhacement of 88 smart schools

and Computer Literachy Programme.
2003 PPSMI, SME, ETeMS were introduced.

2006 Schools Access Project (PuAS)

2007 ICT In education Programme

2006 School Net Was Introduced. The Purpose Of School Net Is To Provide Internet
Coverage For Over 10,000 School Around Malaysia. Edu Cade of studies.
