few notes about arrival/dismissal at Manzanita:

Recently, the whole school practiced proper dismissal procedures, whether they go to parent
pick up, the bus, or to CARE. Ask your child for details!

In order to contribute to smooth arrival/dismissal proceedings, please use the CFSD bus
service, if at all possible.

If you park your vehicle in the west lot and pick your child up, please wait near the garden. We
are asking that no one (adult or child) stand in the desert area.

We encourage you to remember to take advantage of our beautiful walking paths between
the school and La Encantada. Park there to avoid the traffic, and enjoy the brief walk to and
from school! If you park at La Encantada for pick up, your child will meet you at the east end
of the front sidewalk.

In addition, we would like to introduce the following NEW options for morning arrival:

1) The gate at the EAST end of the parking lot (near 5th grade) will be OPEN from 7:45 to
8:00 each morning. This will allow students whose classrooms are closer to that end of
the building, to enter the campus there from the Parent Drop Off area.

2) The gate in the BACK of the school (near the bus bay) will be available for pedestrian
access from 7:45 to 8:00 each morning. This will allow for families who walk from La
Encantada to enter the campus there. Please note: NO VEHICLES are permitted in the
bus bay.
