A Healthier Meal
After researching each category of the meal, I have found that none of these meals are
particulary healthy for you... which is scary because so many people eat them
everyday. Surprisingly, McDonald's hamburger meal was the lowest in calories, fat,
cholesterol, and sodium. But, they were the lowest in protein and dietary fiber.
However, I still think McDonald's is the healthier choice for a hamburger meal! By far,
Back Yard burger is the unhealthiest of all four restaurants. By eating just the burger,
you're already almost halfway to your needed calories for the day, way over your daily
recommended grams of fat, still okay on cholesterol, over halfway through your needed
sodium, half way through total amount of carbs, but still good on dietary fiber and
protein. Overall, people should stay away from hamburger meals from these
restaurants because of the numbers & there are always healthier choices available.
