Burn Off

1st Degree Burn

This picture above demonstrates an idea of a patient being affected by a 1st degree burn. In 1st
degree burn many people who experience this tend to have effect on the outermost layer of the
skin , which doesnt really result of any blood loss but can cause pain on the surface of the skin.
However, since it not a big issue of worrying about the skin it can cause patients experience lack
of producing Vitamin D if patient was affected with a highly sunlight burn then that would
happen .
Additionally, it would be best if patient who are suffering from a first degree burn can avoid
being around things like heat , butter, oil and ice that could cause pai.
Instead, could use a cold compress to apply light cold water to feel relief from pain and use
medicine to help heal the wound. Overall, as a Burn care nurse working in the burning unit of
the hospital would help patient get care . By doing so they would assist patients with treatments
that will be recommended by the Dermatologist.
2nd Degree Burn

During a 2nd degree burn many patients are facing a more highly result of deeper pain. This can
cause healing to be more longer to be back normal because during this time the skin is affected
in the inter portion of the skin. This can also cause pain when the nerves in the skin starts to
react in a very intensive way causing patients to fall into a slightly critical condition.
However, during this time patients are to try avoid occlusive dressings in order not allow
drainage of exudates and may provide an environment conducive to the development of
infection. Also, burn should be gently wash and always remain clean so that patients could be
feeling less pain. In this situation many nerves, vitamins like calcium is being damage so to not
be in this problem patient is required to visit a anesthesiologist to see and examine what can be
done with prevent the skin from not feeling pain during surgery.
Once it is confirm that patient must keep visiting a psychologist with help if having problems
emotionally and to help patient by advising not to work with hot objects.
3rd degree burn

This is a third degree burn which turns a dark reddish black due to the nerve damage. The layers
of skin that are damaged starts with the epidermis, then the dermis, and even the hypodermis
where the fat and muscle tissue are located. This burn will affect the skin from getting
information from the nerves because the skin is feeling pressure and pain which patient fails to
feel. Since its burn very deep and can also result lack of vitamins like calcium . To avoid these
problems in this case patient needs to see a reconstructive surgeon to get a surgery done and help
to get treatments as required by a dermatologist. This will be very helpful if patients follow up
with doctors to be treated and not having to feel numbness.
