Ms. Frederick
Over these past months Ive learned many things. From September Ive learned
how to annotate bibliographies not just for my Senior Project but just in general for
future projects. I also learned how to analyze and annotate articles. My weakness was
finding website urls for my Senior Project and annotating articles. Even though I was
using advanced search on Google it made it hard to find certain things from my topic.
Animals Bill of Rights. I learned how to give my peers feedback on their essays and
Be and Eberts The Essential man I learned how to chart multiple texts and splitting
the texts into their own titled divisions to better understand them. My weakness was
trying to use the articles in this unit to draft and weave into my speech. My strength was
analyzing the texts and being able to use my annotations in group discussions or in
Going into November I learned about how much a person is actually worth to the
government after one dies. And through an activity called the Human Life Value
Calculator that lets you see how much you are worth from how much you earn in your
job and your savings. Also different tips and ideas to include on shaping our charity

deconstruct the class standards for the final unit of Into the Wild. I also learned about
the main character and how the author came to write about the main characters
journey. My weakness was not being able to understand some of the epigraphs in the
chapters making some of my answers towards them be shorter than usual. There was
just too many words on some of them, and my reaction to some chapters was short
because it was hard to summarize or write about my thoughts or reaction towards it. At
the beginning I did not know what it was I was supposed to be writing about in my
journal. On the chapters that had a map it was also hard to describe.
My strength was being able to meet the standards for this unit on my essay for
the road lifestyle not being for everyone. I was able to use my journal to help me come
up with arguments for my essay and argue my points for the prompt.
