64 20
Unit system: MMGS (millimeter, gram, second)
Part origin: Arbitrary

Create new assembly with the following parts (FOUND IN THE

Week 10 - Task 3 folder):
Base.sldprt
Crankshaft.sldprt
PistonRod.sldprt
PistonHead.sldprt

Create a sub-folder in your SolidWorks folder. Title it: Week 10

Assembly #1.
SAVE the following Assembly in this folder with the name: 10-C
-ASSEMBLY.
Create the appropriate mates as shown.
Mate the front planes of PistonHead.sldprt coincident to the front
plane of base.sldprt

Create the coordinate system as shown in the picture.

Create the angle mates as shown in the following picture.

Question 3: What is the center of mass of the assembly with
respect to the new coordinate system?

a. X= -22.55, Y= 120.12, Z= 155.34

b. X= -25.85, Y= 113.54, Z= 173.53
c. X= 22.55, Y= -120.12, Z= 155.34
d. X= -30.53, Y= 102.11, Z= 166.38

Task 4- Update Week 10 Assembly #1.

-Change the angle mate as shown in the following picture.

SAVE the Assembly with the following name: 10-D-ASSEMBLY

Question 4: What is the center of mass of the assembly with

respect to the new coordinate system?
