Describe the instructional activities that will occur prior to the SRS activity and how you will
introduce the SRS activity: Prior to the activity, the children will learn how to count using their fingers or

in front of the class. At the end of the week, I will allow students to play Kahoot to compete against their

As we prepare to use the student response tool, I will ask students to come check out a tablet. I will write
down the name of the student next to the number that is on the tablet, to keep track of them. I will then
introduce to the class how to operate the tablet and access Kahoot. I will model how to turn on the device,
and instruct the class how to input the class code to access our specific game we are going to play. I will
walk around and assist students and explain instructions.
I will also give the classroom rules on using the device. After everyone has got to the main screen of
kahoot, I will began with the first question. This question is going to be simple so that children will get the
hang of it. Students will read the addition problem and think of the answer, once the answers appear, they
will choose which answer by clicking on the color that represents their answer. At the end we will see how
the majority of the class did, and play again if necessary.
