Using the book The Napping house
After reading the book The Napping House students will gather together in groups of four to five. Students will have already cut out characters to place in a plastic Ziploc bag. Each group will come to me and the students are to put the orders of events in sequence. By placing them on a number line in front of them. The teacher will check for understanding and log the data on a separate form for her own notes. After all groups have gone, the class will come together and collaborate as a class.
