Procedures
Classroom Principle:
Respect, Responsibility, and Rigor
*Respect yourself and others. Take responsibility for your actions
and learning. In all that you do; put your greatest effort into it.

Classroom Rules:
Dont interrupt others right to learn or my right to teach
Follow Directions
Listen attentively while other students contribute to a class
discussion
Contribute to a class discussion when you have something you
want to say
No put-downs
No arguing during class. If you disagree with the teachers
decision, wait until after class to express your opinion
Smile- Its going to be a great day!

Classroom Procedures
Beginning Class
Student enters classroom
Sits down at assigned table
Turn in homework- leaving it in a pile in the middle of the table
Start on daily question posted on the board

During Class
Teacher teaches and models what the students will learn today
Students explain what they learned to their peers
Write down questions they have on white board, which is located
in the middle of the table.
Students work silently on assigned work.
After silent working, students discuss in small groups
Students listen while others are talking
Students move to other tables and discuss with other peers what
they are learning
Throughout the lesson and discussion there are incentives for
positive behavior
Ending Class
 Teacher addresses additional questions and reinforces how well
the students did at collaborating together
Students clean up materials and classroom
Homework is assigned
Class is dismissed
