Second Offence Expulsion Expulsion / Retraction of Degree NA NOTE: Some of the academic penalties described in the table above may well lower a students overall grade average below the minimally acceptable levels in the Graduate College. This will trigger further action by the Graduate Committee responsible for the students Program. The Graduate Committee may require the student to retake a course or to substitute another course; in some cases the Committee may recommend that the student be required to discontinue. Where a course is retaken or a new course is substituted, the grade for the retaken or substitute course will be used in the calculation of the students GPA upon course completion.
