Our program is designed to give you
the knowledge and skills you need to
apply for admission to the Faculty of
Education at the University of British
Columbia (UBC). Youll be on track to
teach in Catholic, Independent
(Private), and Public schools.
At the same time, you'll also complete
a solid Bachelor of Arts degree.
If you choose not to pursue a career
in education, like other BA graduates,
you can go directly into a career
or take advanced studies at the
graduate level.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Four-year degree: Bachelor of Arts in
Theology and Culture
Program courses have been designed
to be engaging, relevant, and practical

- K 7: Classroom teaching for
students from kindergarten to
grade 7
- Middle School: Classroom teaching
for students from grade 5 to 7
- Secondary school: 3 teachable
concentrations (English, History/

ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS
Are you a high school student?
You can apply directly to St. Marks College. The
minimum requirements are:
1. Graduation from a provincial high school with a
minimum GPA of 67%.
2. Completion of English 12 and three additional Gr. 12
courses (Contact recruiter@stmarkscollege.ca for
more information)
Are you already attending a college
or university?
You can apply to transfer directly into St. Marks to
earn your Bachelors degree. You can transfer in your
first, second or third year.
You may be able to transfer some lower division
courses into the program. Come and talk to us to
discuss transferring the credits youve earned so far.
We will help you to develop a flexible plan to meet the
programs prerequisites and course requirements.
Option for Dual-Enrolment: Take courses at
St. Mark's while you continue to attend another
university or college. Ask us about becoming a Visiting
Student!
Are you already attending Corpus
Christi College?
You can complete your first year, or both first and
second year, at Corpus Christi College, and then apply
to transfer directly into St. Marks College.
Option for Dual-Enrolment at St. Marks:
You can get a head-start on your St. Marks BA by
taking courses at St. Marks while you are still a
student at Corpus Christi ask us how!
