BUDGET STATEMENT
This is the budget statement for the plant tour scheduled this coming April 1-
5, 2013 which includes the breakdown of the total cost. All student members are
required to pay P 5,000.00 for the tour. This amount covers transportation,
accommodation and additional expenses. Below is a detailed presentation of the
expenses.
TRANSPORTATION
A. Going to Manila
Thirty four student members purchased tickets for the ship bound to Manila.
Due to concerns regarding the security of our baggage, four members decided to
reserve a cabin class accommodation where all baggage will be placed during the
duration of the boat trip. They will be paying additional P250.00. The total cost for
the transportation via ship will become P 31,501.20 instead of P32, 501.20 and this
will be divided among the 34 members who will be riding the ship with Cebu-Manila
route. Each person will be paying P 926.51. Table 1 below shows the exact amount
of the tickets with the number of members who were able to buy them as well as
the type of promo.
We will be boarding an airplane on our way back to Cebu. The cost per
member for the plane tickets is P2, 000.15.
The total cost for the bus that we will be using during our four and a half-
day tour around Luzon is P 60, 000.00 and this amount will be divided by 35
members. The cost per person is P 1,714.29.
Table 2 shows the summary of the total transportation expenses per person.
ACCOMMODATION
With Brod Edward Sees generosity, we were fortunate enough to cut costs
for our accommodation. We only have to pay P200.00 per person for toiletries and
for the utilization of facilities.
