License statements
We kindly ask you to respect the following no-nonsense license statements:
I have purchased a license to use the files from the download, I do not own them.
I will not share copies of the files with other people.
I am allowed to make a copy of the files for backup purposes only. I will store this copy in a
safe location, where other potential users cannot access it.
I accept the materials "as is" and accept that they are not guaranteed to be fit for any specific
purpose.
This library has been created with a lot of dedication, studying and (very) long recording, editing
and processing sessions. If you like the results, please help us to promote the Samplicity libraries
by talking about them to friends and in discussions on web forums. Please do not give a away
copies of this library.
And don't forget to send me feedback, suggestions and - if possible - demos of your work with the
library that you allow me to post on the Samplicity website (in "dry" and mixed versions)!

Samplicity L96 Impulse Response Library v 1.3
If you are not certain how to load True Stereo IR sets, please check the documentation of your
convolution plugin.
True stereo IR sets consist of two stereo IR files, one with reverb information for sound from the
left (L) input channel and one for sound from the right (R) input channel. Both files need to be
fed with a centered mono signal from respectively the L and R channel. Most current convolution
plugins have presets for True Stereo applications.
If you use mono-to-stereo IRs it is a good practise to make the input signal mono or nearly mono.
Otherwise off-center sounds will have an off-center reverb, which sounds rather odd.
For optimal results use the True-Stereo IR sets
Why 32 bit?
This second IR-library from Samplicity offers all the presets of the famous Lex 960 hardware
reverb in 32 bit, whereas version 1.0 of our first T600 library (from the System 6000) provided 24
bit files. The advantage of using 32 bit files is that you get a slightly better quality than when
using 24 bit files, since we did all the processing and editing in 32 bit floating point format. Of
course we have also created and included 24 bit versions of all presets in case your plugin cannot
handle 32 bit files.
For optimal results use the 32 bit IR versions
Using 32 bit IR-files instead of 24 bit files does not make any difference in CPU-load, as all
convolution plugins use 32 bit floating point as their internal processing format. Still, the
Samplicity impulse responses are typically long and thus may require more CPU resources than
other - free or commercial - IR's from the Lex 960.
Note: the Wave files use the 32 bit floating point format (required for the Waves IR-1 plugin).

The preset numbering scheme is based on the bank and preset numbering of the original
Lexicon 960L. A listing of all the presets can be found at the last pages of this document.
