(DISCUSSION METHOD)

I.OBJECTIVES

Discuss the rights and responsibilities of a consumer.


Reflect on the rights and responsibilities of a consumer.
Perform a short role playing showing the rights and responsibilities of a
consumer.

II.SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Consumers Rights and Responsibilities.

Reference: Enjoy life with P.E and Health textbook IX pp. 182-185

Materials: laptop, projector, video presentation, speaker.

B. Review
The teacher will ask the students about their previous lesson
in health, which is all about medicinal plants. The students will give an
example of medicinal plant and the disease that it can treat.

C. Motivation
The teacher will play a short video presentation, showing an
argument between the buyer and a seller regarding a product.

D. Lesson Proper
The teacher will discuss the 8 consumer rights, as well as
their responsibilities.

prepare, students will have to construct a short role playing about 2-3
minutes regarding to the rights and responsibilities of a consumer.

(DEMONSTRATION METHOD)

I.OBJECTIVES

Identify the basic steps in folk dance.


Perform the basic steps in folkdance correctly.
Show interest in executing the basic steps in folkdance.

II.SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Basic Steps in Folk Dance.

Reference: Fundamental Dance Steps and Music Book pp. 9-12

Materials: Blackboard, chalk, laptop, projector.

Valuing: Appreciate the importance of basic steps.

III.LEARNING ACTIVITIES

B. Review

The teacher will have a recap regarding to the lesson that they
discussed yesterday, and give some questions about the lesson
yesterday.

C. Motivation
The teacher will play a short video presentation that having a
connection with their new topic. The students observe it very well.

D. Lesson Proper
The teacher will discuss the 10 basic steps in folkdance and
these are the following:
Step 1. Saludo step 4. Brush step
Step 2. Close step step 5. Hop step
Step 3. Waltz step 6. Bleking step
Step 7. Slide step step 9. Point step
Step 8. Pivot step step 10. Cross step

E. Generalization

After the discussion, the teacher will show the names of the basic
steps and the students raise their hand and demonstrate it in
front of the class.

F. Application

The teacher will group their students into four for their activity,
and thats activity call show cards.

The students need to identify the basic steps in folk dance, then
each group will write the correct answer in the index card.

IV.EVALUATION

The teacher will group their students, and each group will have to
perform a 2 minutes folkdance using the basic steps with upbeat music.

V. ASSIGNMENT

At the end of the 60 minutes lesson the students should have;

b Recorded accurately their data at the physical fitness and the sports
talent form
c Found pleasure in the determining their anthropometric measurements

Materials: chair, ruler, blackboard, chalk, tape measure, index card

Class what do you think is the reason why I task all of you to research
about anthropometric measurement?
The teacher will be given new groups that will determine their body
height and body mass, sitting height and arm span

D. Developmental of the lesson:


1 The teacher will explain the purpose of each kind of test, the
equipment to be used and the procedure for the test.
Why do we need to know the measure of our height and weight or
even the sitting height and arm span?
Ok class now I will group you in four groups each group will send to
the different station and you should have to finish the task that they
assign to you. Using the materials like tape measure and etc.
I would like you to record your analysis on the index card.
Class who among you knows how to measure the height, body
mass, sitting height and arm span?
2 The teacher will be assigned to station in which they moved and
start the test.
The first group will be test is the group one and they will give 10
minutes to finish all the station.
3 The students will proceed to the next station until all station have
been taken up.
First station: Measuring Height
Second station: Measuring Body mass
Third station: Measuring Sitting Height
Fourth station: Measuring arm span
E. Generalization
The students will determine their anthropometric
measurements with accuracy.
