GUIDELINE
Purpose:To name and understand the structure of
the fish and know the function of each organs
Background:Fish are aquatic vertebrate. Most of
their fishs skin are covered with the scales to protect aqua
dynamics. Their limbs are evolved to be fins in order to swim
and they breathe through gills. Fish are R-selection species
because they lay eggs in the water, have a little care to their
offspring, and have a short life expectancy.
Materials:
1. Fish (perch) 2. Gloves 3. Lab coat 4. Goggles
5. Dissection tray 6. Dissection kit (forceps, small scissors,
scalpel)
Procedure:
1.Place the fish on the dissection tray and cut it open from
the anus up to the neck
2.Turn the fish to its normally side and cut the body upward
until the end of first incision for both sides
3.Cut off the flap skin to investigate the internal organ
