(a) read and understand phrases in linear and non-linear texts.
(b) read and understand a paragraph of 5-8 simple and compound sentences.

Activities :
1. Teacher reads the passage in the textbook
together with pupils.
2. Teacher explains about the passage to pupils.
3. Teacher asks pupils questions to check comprehension
4. Teacher asks pupils to sit in pairs and list down the uses of internet as in
their TB pg 108
5. Teacher asks pupils to read their answers randomly.
6. Teacher drills pupils with the passage.
7. LBI activities:
- a. Show the picture cards. (Appendix 1)

b. If a pupil can say the word correctly, give the picture card to the pupil.
c. In turn, the pupil will pass the picture card to another pupil who can say the word.
