ledgercomponentenablestheR/3Systemtocarryinventory
valuesintwoadditional

currencies/valuations.Therefore,allgoodsmovementsinthe
materialledgerareperformedinup

to3currenciesorvaluations.Currencyamountsare
translatedintoforeigncurrenciesat

historicalexchangeratesdirectlyatthetimeofposting.
Businessessuchasthoseinhighinflation

countriescanthereforecarrytheirinventoriesinamore
stablecurrency(suchasUS

dollars).Thisrevealsinflationaryeffectsoninventoryvalues.

havenottickedthatMLinMMR&notactivatedtheMLformy
valuationarea.Itriedthesamescenarioinotherclient,and
