What is happening with our planet?

RESUMEN

En los ltimos aos, incuso dcadas el planeta ha venido sufriendo una gran
degradacin, el efecto invernadero, calentamiento global, son algunos de los
problemas que ahora son una realidad para el planeta, los niveles de
contaminacin que son lo que ms lo afecta, estos han sobrepasado el ndice
de calidad para el ecosistema, esto representa un peligro inminente para la
salud de los seres vivos, pues toda la serie de perjuicios que sufre el planeta
acarrea daos irreversibles para los recursos naturales.

A medida que aumenta el poder del hombre sobre la naturaleza y aparecen

nuevas necesidades como consecuencia de la vida en sociedad, el medio
ambiente que lo rodea se deteriora cada vez ms. El comportamiento social del
hombre, que lo condujo a comunicarse por medio del lenguaje, que
posteriormente formo la cultura humana, le permiti diferenciarse de los dems
seres vivos. Pero mientras ellos se adaptan al medio ambiente para sobrevivir,
el hombre adapta y modifica ese mismo segn sus necesidades.

El progreso tecnolgico, por una parte y el acelerado crecimiento demogrfico,

por la otra, producen la alteracin del medio, llegando en algunos casos a
atentar contra el equilibrio biolgico de la Tierra. No es que exista una
incompatibilidad absoluta entre el desarrollo tecnolgico, el avance de la
civilizacin y el mantenimiento del equilibrio ecolgico, pero es importante que
el hombre sepa armonizarlos. Para ello es necesario que proteja los recursos
renovables y no renovables y que tome conciencia de que el saneamiento del
ambiente es fundamental para la vida sobre el planeta.

ABSTRACT
In recent years, even decades ago the planet has been suffering a great
degradation, the greenhouse effect, global warming, are some of the problems
that are now a reality for the planet, the pollution levels that affect it the most,
these Have exceeded the quality index for the ecosystem, this represents an
imminent danger to the health of living beings, since the whole series of
damages suffered by the planet carries irreversible damage to natural resources,
and therefore to living beings.

As man's power over nature increases and new needs arise as a result of life in
society, the surrounding environment deteriorates more and more. The social
behavior of man, which led him to communicate through language, which later
formed human culture, allowed him to differentiate himself from other living
beings. But while they adapt to the environment to survive, man adapts and
modifies the same according to their needs.

Technological progress, on the one hand, and accelerated population growth,

on the other hand, produce the alteration of the environment, sometimes
leading to an attack on the biological balance of the Earth. It is not that there is
an absolute incompatibility between technological development, the advance of
civilization and the maintenance of ecological balance, but it is important that
man knows how to harmonize them. To do this, it is necessary to protect
renewable and non-renewable resources and to be aware that environmental
sanitation is fundamental for life on the planet.
