Hey kids! No youre not dreaming

its me - the amazing Captain
Ex-Cell-ent, and yes, its a real
pleasure to meet me!

Im here to tell you about my

extraordinary ability to duplicate
yes, you heard right - I can make
more of me. How lucky you are! My
power comes from the chromosomes
safe inside my Nucleus. My
chromosomes contain all your
genetic information. I know Im
amazing!

Before I duplicate I must go

through 5 stages. Its hard work,
kids, but with great power comes
great responsibility and remember
everything I do, I do for you. I
know - Im invaluable.

Stage 1, Prophase: the chromosomes

become visible boom!- and the
mitotic spindle forms pow!

Stage 2 its Prometaphase time!

as my nuclear envelope collapses,

Stage 3 is Metaphase or what I

like to call Chromosomes
Assemble! Just look at them
getting in line ready for action!
Camera stays in focus as
chromosomes begins to move for the
Prometaphase stage, then line up in
the centre of the Nucleus preparing
the captain ex-cell-ent for
division

Anaphase is stage 4: Watch in

amazement as I pull myself apart
Grrrr take the strain, Captain
Ex-Cell-ent, You can do it! Were
all relying on you

And POW! Its stage 5 telophase!

Look is it really possible? Can
it be true? Why yes! Yes, it is!
Captain Excellent has done it
again! Hes split apart to create
an identical copy and oh, hes
just as handsome!

Camera shows the Nucleus slowly dividing into two and the
chromosomes splitting apart from the centre ready for the
new cell, then the words POW appear and disappear to reveal
two captain cells.

Cell-guy divides into two more cells very suddenly.

All cells undergo Mitosis thats

The Cells divide very suddenly with a popping noise until
