After you have identified which name you wish to meditate on, click with your computer mouse until the box
expands to reveal a larger version of the holy name and spiritual intention you have chosen to meditate on. To
further facilitate your meditation, you may opt to add a selection of soothing trance music or nature sounds by
clicking on one of the selections provided in the audio player below the expanded box...or ignore it and do the
meditation in silence.
1. Ask permission of the Light to use the holy Hebrew letters for your meditative purpose. Since God
created the worlds with these letters they are holy and belong to him.
2. Be humble but direct as you state your intention. Call upon the Lightforce of God for what you
specifically wish to accomplish through this meditation. For example, if the purpose is to transform
negative emotions to their positive counterparts, list these emotions in your own words. Ask that the
healing energy from the specific name of God help to transform these negative emotions.
3. Begin again with slow and rhythmic deep breathing. Gently push away any extraneous thoughts so
that you may completely concentrate only on your breath. As you drift into an alpha state, imagine tha
the three letter combination of Hebrew letters are brightly smoldering as if on fire. All the illusions of
existence begin to fade off and you are alone with your thoughts as never before...You are alone with t
Lightforce of God. Begin to repeat like a mantra, slowly over and over again, the English transliteratio
of the Hebrew letters. If possible, vibrate the letters at the pitch of middle C. You will begin to develop
slow rhythmic breathing cadence of repeating the letters over and over again in a manner that is
comfortable for you. As your meditation on the holy three letter name of God and the angel behind
becomes more intense, the letters will glow brighter and brighter.
4. Start with 5 minutes a day and try to work up to 20 minutes a day. As you bring yourself out of the
meditation, remember to sit for two minutes to completely come back from alpha state.
5. With consistent practice you will, over time, get more advanced in your meditation. Your intentions
will grow more complicated, you may want to combine two names together. This would involve a
"stitching process" whereby you create a new hybridized name. This occurs in the following manner:
take the first letter from the first name with the first letter of the second name, the second letter of the
first name with the second letter of the second name, and the third letter of the first name with the thir
letter of the second name. Repeat this new six-letter name as a mantra over and over again as you wou
the three-letter name.
19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pilla
of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: 20 And it came between the camp of the
Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these:
that the one came not near the other all the night. 21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the
Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters
were divided.
The formula for a three-letter combination is constructed in the following manner: take the first letter from
Verse 19 and then combine it with the last letter from Verse 20 and the first letter from Verse 21. The second
three-letter combination is obtained by taking the second letter from Verse 19, combining it with the second to
last letter from Verse 20, and the second letter from Verse 21 and so on. This process is continued until a to
of 72 three-letter combinations are formed. Each three-letter combination is the name of a specific attribute of
God as well as being the name of a specific angel that represents that attribute of God.
The combination of these 72 names creates a 216-letter name of God, that is commonly referred to as the
Shemhamphorasch or Shem ha-Mephorash. As referenced in Exodus 23:20-21, it states:
"Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place which I have
prepared. Give heed to him and hearken to his voice, do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your
transgressions; for my name is in him."
This specifically refers to Archangel Michael who is represented by a three - letter name of God - #51 on the
chart, which is pronounced "Nun Nun Aleph". The gematria of this is 101, which is also the gematria of the
letters Mem, Yud, Caf, Aleph, Lamed which make up the word Michael. (Gematria is a Kabbalistic system
where each Hebrew letter has an equivalent mathematical value. This hidden system is used to deduce hidden
supernal meanings where the gematria of one word is equal to the gematria of another word, and therefore the
literal meaning of that same word.) Michael collectively "presides" over all of the other angels involved in thi
collective endeavor as well.
Now that you have a basic Kabbalistic understanding of how the 72 Names of God were derived, you are read
to partake of this amazing meditation tool.
