This course outline provides information about the Method of Teaching English as a Foreign Language 1 course. This course is designed to provide the students with information related to English and its teaching with an expectation that at the end of the course they will have sufficient knowledge about Teaching English as Foreign language, and thus, are able to apply such information in their daily practice in the future. 2. MATERIALS The materials will cover: history of English ELT, terms in TEFL, language and language learning, definition of approach, method, and technique, learners and teachers, and methods commonly used in teaching English. 3. ACTIVITIES The activities include: lecture group discussion making paper writing summary dialogs 4. EVALUATION The studentss score will be taken based on several criteria, namely: attendance regularity quality of the paper presentation on group discussion participation on group discussion quality of summary 5.
