Miss Kendra Allen
Kendra Allen has been the School
Counselor at Eleanor Lemaire Junior
High since August 2015. She received
her School Counseling degree at Idaho
State University in 2015. She also
attended the University of Utah for four
years prior to Idaho State University.
Miss Allen loves the outdoors,
traveling, and spending time with her
family. She is pleased to be working
with the children and families of ELJH.

What is a school counselor?
School counselors in the 21st century are highly
trained educators in pre K-12 settings who
uphold ethical and professional standards to
design, implement, and manage
comprehensive, developmental, results-based
programs that promote and enhance student
success. School counselors are certified or
licensed professionals who possess a masters
degree or higher, meet the state
certification/licensure standards, and abide by
the laws of the states in which they are
employed.
