Hannah has sound content knowledge that provides a solid foundation for instruction. She provided students with
learning activities that require them to solve problems that have real-world applications. In this placement, she has been
learning new pedagogy for teaching middle school students in small group settings. This has been a wonderful
opportunity to see this as a new initiative in teaching middle school math.

Overall, Hannah consistently meets this standard. When planning, she will further consider lesson pacing and better
articulation for how her high and low group work is different. In addition, she will expand her use of learning strategies
as she tended to use the same strategies from lesson to lesson.

Hannah provided effective instruction to the middle school students at Brandon Middle School. She grew to provide
more student-centered instruction over time. She will continue to refine her differentiation strategies as she gains
teaching experience.

This has been Hannah's greatest growth area since the beginning of student teaching. She is continually learning best-
practices for keeping middle school students on-task and engaged in learning math. Students were adequately engaged
during my second and third observations. She continues to refine her skills in this area. I have no doubt that she could
handle her own middle school classroom.

Hannah is a well-rounded practitioner. She developed positive relationships with her school community members. She
worked well in a co-teaching environment where there were several adults in the math classroom assisting students
during her instruction. This placement provided her with good opportunities to see how the co-teaching concept works in
reality. Hannah sought constructive feedback during each of my conferences with the desire to continually improve
professionally.
