tanaman tersebut memiliki aktivitas anti-inflamasi secara in vitro maupun in
vivo.
in vivo diperoleh persen penghambatan edema sebesar 9,06% pada
campuran ekstrak meniran : kelor : salam (1:2:1). Berdasarkan pengujian in
vitro menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak meniran : kelor : salam (1:2:1) memiliki
aktivitas anti-inflamasi tertinggi berbeda dengan hasil pengujian in vivo,
aktivitas anti-inflamasi tertinggi pada in vivo terdapat pada ektrak tunggal
meniran sebesar 19,59%.

(E) Several studies have been conducted to determine the activity of bay leaves,
moringa leaves and herb meniran with in vitro and in vivo method. The
results showed the three plants have anti-inflammatory activity in vitro and
in vivo. Single form or in combination with other materials
antiinflammatory activity yet known, it is necessary to test for anti-
inflammatory activity. Extracts and a combination of extracts that have anti-
inflammatory activity was selected subsequently forwarded to in vivo tests
with test methods rat foot inflammation induced by carrageenan. This study
aims to establish the anti-inflammatory activity of three plant extracts in the
form of single and combination by testing the inhibition of denaturation of
albumin. Results of in vitro testing showed the highest percent inhibition in
combination meniran: Moringa: bay leaves (1: 2: 1) amounted to 60.04%
0.32. While in vivo obtained percent inhibition of edema at 9.06% in a
mixture of extracts meniran: Moringa: bay leaves (1: 2: 1). Based on in vitro
testing showed that the extract meniran: Moringa: bay leaves has the highest
anti-inflammatory activity in contrast to the results of the in vivo test,
antiinflammatory activity is highest in a single extract meniran.
