Senior Project Panel

It is my pleasure to recommend Andrew Schwefler for the completion of his senior project.

I have known Andrew Schwefler since August 2015 when he was enrolled into my Robotics and
Engineering class at Santa Susana High School and I have kept in contact with him as I served as
a mentor for his senior project. I have thoroughly enjoyed having Andrew as part of my Robotics
and Engineering class. He is a very hard worker and works well with his classmates.

In addition to being an excellent student, Andrew is very self-motivated and has completed an
exceptional senior project. Andrew worked with a partner to design a robotic hand. He worked on
building the glove that controlled the hand, setting up the servos, printing and an arm, assembling
and setting servos inside the printed arm, coding the Uno (a microcontroller) and setting up the
circuits.

I can confidently say that Andrew will be a great addition to any university. He is very
knowledgeable in computer science and computer hardware and will work hard at every
challenge that is thrown his way.
