A research question was presented, but the
objectives are unclearly identified.
It seems too broad to focus on Tesco as a
whole company, it needs to focused on one
specific branch and it helps to make approach.
Aim and objectives confused and mixed and
simply stated. There is some evidence of
understanding and topic knowledge, but no
research gaps were identified and no
clarification of where it is located and how it is
selected. It needed to place the dissertation
more in the wide context.
The literature covered the key issues in places
to an acceptable standard. The use of relevant
academic materials were basically acceptable.
More specific issues should be considered
when a decision is made to select the case
study. It lacks evident relation to the objectives.

It is an interesting context described here but
limited understanding of theories and concepts,
it is a doable proposal if objectives can be
clearly identified. You got to carry on reading
relevant journals and books and to be sure all
the key issues are covered according to your
objectives. It is necessary to show and
consider your strategy of research
methodology and identify the reason why you
chose those methods in your study. Make sure
they are clearly presented in your dissertation.
