Lesson 1

1. My strongest interests are investigative, artistic, and social. Investigative: these occupations

frequently involve working with ideas, and require an extensive amount of thinking. These

occupations can involve searching for facts and figuring out problems mentally. Artistic: these

occupations frequently involve working with forms, designs and patterns. They often require

self-expression and the work can be done without following a clear set of rules. Social: these

occupations frequently involve working with, communicating with, and teaching people. These

occupations often involve helping or providing service to others.

2. My first career choice is Broadcast News Analysis; this job requires a considerable amount of

preparation. The second career choice is being a Tutor; this job requires a considerable amount of

preparation. My last career choice is to be an Art Therapist; this job requires an extensive amount

of preparation.

3. Everybody has different personalities, however some people dont know what they want to do

with their lives thats why taking an online survey for a job depending on your personality is

important, and who knows the people who find these jobs can be happy and stick with them.

4. One of my strengths is developing a good rapport with people; this is one of my better qualities

because I know how to make people feel better when theyre feeling down. My second strength

is having good instinct for what would make me happy, its another good quality I have because

if Im feeling stressed or upset I can relax myself by watching something calming or funny on

the internet.
5. One of my blind spots is not being assertive enough in selling my strengths and talents; when I

try to show what I can do, often Im very shy because I dont want to mess up and embarrass

myself. My second weakness is not prioritizing by goals very well; I often procrastinate on what

I should do after high school.

6. The quality that my career should have is to let me be consistent with my strong inner values and

be something I care deeply about. Another quality my career should have is taking place in a

supportive, friendly and tension-free environment.

7. The quality that my college should have is a friendly, nurturing supportive faculty and staff. The

other quality that my college should have is a course of study that stresses the development of

practical skills.

8. The careers are the same from both survey results; I am recommended to become a teacher, an

9. The two jobs that interest me the most is being a Natural Sciences Managers and Musicians,

Instrumental. The reason why I would want to be a Natural Sciences Managers is because

science is something that always interested me. Ive always been fascinated by a lot of things

about science, such as how every living thing on our planet functions and lives, how big is our

universe, and could we possibly live on other planets in the future. The reason why I would also

want to be a Musicians, Instrumental is because, I love music very much and I knew how to play

a few instruments when I was younger. I grew up around music when I was kid because, my

whole family loved to play an instrument. For this very reason I think that being a musician

could be a good career choice since music is one of my passions.
