Achievements
Produce white paper on shared service along with process flow charts and recommended organogram.

Presently working as Manager Internal Audit with Pakistan Services Limited-HASWANI HOTELS. Where I
currently perform the Internal Audit assignments of hospitality divisions, which includes 9 five star hotels in (7
Pearl Continental Hotels and 2 Marriott Hotels) and 11 three star hotels (Hotel One Limited).
Worked with SIEMENS Pakistan as a Commercial Officer in Islamabad office.

chain of 9 five star hotels in (7 Pearl Continental Hotels and 2 Marriott Hotels).

I am Manager Internal Audit at Corporate office and;

- Currently I have been assigned to Project of Implementation of Shared services, under which I am currently
performing following tasks;
- Redesign Chart of Accounts and transactional codes for two corporate office (PSL & HHL) and nine hotels to
uniform reporting and support shared service concept.
- Developing work break down structure for implementation of centralised shared service concept across the
group.
- Working on As is and To be analysis of accounts and finance functions of two corporate offices and nine
hotels.

Apart from Implementation of Shared Service following are my main responsibilities;

Assess risks and plan the approach and scope of specific audit assignments.
Plan, perform, supervise, and coordinate the completion of assigned audits in accordance with approved audit
programs (mainly related to Rooms division, F&B division, Banquets, Purchases, Stores, Credits, Human
resource, Sales and Marketing etc).
Perform and supervise financial audit of corporate office Hotel One Limited.
Supervise and perform operational audit of all Marriott Hotels and PSL Hotels.
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
Observe and examine transactions, documents, records, reports, SOPs, policies and procedures.
Prepare audit working papers, recording and summarizing data pertinent to assigned audits.
Executes tests of controls and determines adequacy of internal controls and compliance with existing policies.
Reviews the work of other team members and challenges their understanding of audit areas and processes to
assure adequate coverage.
Make or assist in making oral and written presentations to process owners and executive management during and

- Redesign the cost structure of hotel laundry operations.
- Prepare group wise (26 companies) Financial Analysis for board presentation.
- Perform special assignments related to fraud, credit cards, funds embezzlement etc.

Telecommunication Employees Trust (PTET) Tower, Blue Area, Islamabad. Project Worth (Rs) 340 Million, US
